This page is for those who have purchased The Band Director's Guide to Arranging for the Marching Band from Marketing Vision Partners, and the new Second Edition, now called The Band Director's Guide To Marching Band Arranging, available in  print, pdf, and Kindle textbook versions. The second edition includes new sections on using sample libraries with Sibelius and on using electronics with the marching band.

Here is a downloadable pdf excerpt from the book:

PLEASE NOTE: To make it possible to read the many musical examples in the text - including two full scores of marching band arrangements - the Kindle version had to be rendered as a "Kindle Textbook." This kind of Kindle file does not work with all devices. For example, it will not work on a Kindle Paperwhite or a Voyager. However, it will render on newer Fire tablets with the musical examples. It will render on Android devices, iPhones and iPads, but the embedded musical examples will not be available. Those music examples can be found on this page, below.

As time goes on, Kindle support for PC and Mac readers, for Android devices, and for iPads and iPhones is supposed to improve, so we may only have to wait a little while for all features of the Kindle version to be available on those devices!
